Hi flame. I should have been in the finals of the singles. I qualified in October in Bolton (you must have been there?). I'm totally gutted we had to withdraw but I've tried to play a few times over the last few weeks but I'm finding it increasingly difficult.......I wish you the best of luck in Leicester tomorrow and all weekend. Have a ball and I really do hope you win. It would be an honour for you to dedicate any win in my name......

I bet it's not enough, and may spur on more donations, i will do a couple more in a moment, lost my Mam to the big C too, made me have a sad moment reading thro this thread again sniff sniff

I will certainly let everyone know how much I raise. I may run a little comp just for fun and invite members to guess the amount that has been raised. What I will say at the moment is that you have all been extremely generous and have left me astounded at your kindness.

The response to my plight has been heartwarming. People I have never met are going above and beyond to help in my cause. Me and my whole family are overwhelmed at the response, not just on TSF but by everyone connected with us. What the immediate future holds for me, I really do not know but as I said in an earlier thread I will fight the the very end and will not let this cancer spoil whatever I have left.
