I'm back for more chemo on Thursday. But blood tests tomorrow and a meeting with the consultant. I'm not feeling too bad. Lost loads of weight, over 1 1/2 stone in 5 weeks. Chemo is weird, one day I feel ok and the next I feel like a zombie. I've started to develop pain under my right arm now. This thing is spreading fast or I'm just being paranoid. Not sure which.......not sure I want to know either. My hair has nearly all gone (didn't have much anyway) but I'm not too bothered about that. I'm actually going for a knock tomorrow with Stevie Almond.....not before I've dosed myself up with morphine first. God it's the best thing EVER invented. Works a treat.

Overall, I'm doing ok and trying to treat every day as if its my last. I really can't wait for the party on the 15th......something to look forward to.

I'm actually really positive cally. I refuse to let this cancer get the better of me. I've just been dealt a dud hand in a game of poker! Live for today and sod tomorrow. We are all a long time dead.

One week tonight I will be strutting my stuff at the biggest party Liverpool has ever seen. Oh! And then he small matter of drawing out 7 luckywinners of the superb snooker cues I have been donated. I cannot believe the response from family and friends who have helped organise my party. We are also having a separate raffle and auction on the night. Some of the prizes for the raffle are simply outstanding. From holidays donated by Shearings Coaches to a tread mill to bottles of plonk.......I am simply stunned. We have a comedy duo act, disco, karaoke, and a legend from Liverpool FC who is attending (cant say too much publicly) I really cannot wait to see old friends, family and colleagues. There are people travelling from as far as Plymouth for the party.
But first I have a chemotherapy session today. I just hope I'm fit and well for next Friday.....I really cannot wait. If there are any of my TSF friends who are not doing anything next Friday (15 th March) just PM me and I will give you details of the venue.

                            Fred xxxxxxx

Sounds like it is going to be a huge evening!
If only I could pop up as well.
Best of luck with the treatment, so far my mum is handling her's well.
                              Up the TSF! :snooker:
