  • eBay 1 pc Phoenix Supreme ash cue

Hi guys I purchased this cue from TSF member centurysnooker who was selling it for a friend. The cue is only 2 months old and I have the original receipt from craftsman cues for £225. When the cue arrived to me I noticed a small dent at the bottom of the shaft and a small crack in 1 of the splices where the ebony has swelled. None of this had been mentioned when the cue was sold to me and I wasnt happy to say the least. Anyway I have tried to resolve this with the seller but it seems his friend is not going to give me a refund or even try to get the cue fixed by craftsman which they would do for him free of charge as he has the receipt and the cue is only 2 months old. So I have decided to sell this cue to someone who can fix the small amount of damage themselves or pay the £15-20 to have the cue sorted or even someone who will just play with the cue as the damage wouldnt bother them. The cue cost £225 new in december 2012, I paid £180 but I am open to offers
    Specs:
    58.25 inch
    19.2oz
    9.8mm
Cue has a lovely shaft with nicely spaced chevrons, ebony with 4 splices of bubinga burr then 4 splices of macassar ebony. Here are some photos of the cue and the damage:

Yes but who is going to buy it in its current condition you might sell it but lose out quite a lot if it really is a nice cue would it not be worth getting it sorted then selling or just keep it.

i used to own with of these with spilcing similar to the conny cue, im my opinion very underated cue. build quality is excellent and they give a responsive hit of the ball. however i lost alot on my on re sale has not many people have experience with them, which is a shame. take another cue from top cue makers and a supreme cue and take the badges out, people wouldnt tell the difference.

          i are them that highly

          good luck with sale mate

I'm guessing century snooker must have had a look at the cue. Poor show from him.

Have you emailed him or heard anything from craftsman? I saw him tonight and I showed him the photos and he didn't think that it was there when he put it in the tube. He asked me to ask you if there was any damage on the tubing? And craftsman should fix it for free because you have the receipt

Well that's a real change from what you said originally. I have a message from you where you told me your friend had seen the photos I emailed to you n him and that the cue was like that when he received it from craftsman and that it didnt bother him but now he is trying to say the damage wasn't there originally and that it was damaged it transit which is bull****. The tube was fine and had no damage! Craftsman still haven't got back to me and your friend hasn't replied to my emails either, just do the right thing and give me my refund please!!

Yeah he reckon their was a line of splicing you could see but the photos you showed me were zoomed in so looked a lot bigger. Now on these photos it looks about 1inch big the damage. And you told me you were trying to get hold of craftsman then a day or 2 days later wrote this as if I'm in the wrong how can I give you a refund when I ain't got your money. I thought you were alright and we've dealed with other cues before that were fine. Look mate I'm sorry it's not what you wanted and I would be pissed aswell but I have tried to sort it out the cue is a lovely cue and why you don't get in contact with craftsman I don't know as you said yourself you wanted to keep the cue because it plays really well.
