  • eBay *** welshpool trading "welsh dragon" cue for sale ***

One for you Welshies Celebrate St. David's day by buying this amazing cue

Welshpool Trading no longer make cues, so this will only become rarer and rarer in the future. Lovely butt design that has also been used on Mike Wooldridge cues Cue is in perfect condition. There is no butt socket as a long time ago i had a loose weight problem so when Dan Shelton sorted it out for me i decided not to have one re-fitted. Tips of splices have similar red glue tinge to them as early Parris's

    Specs: 57", 9.3 mm ferrule, 18.6 oz, 29.5 mm butt, 15 3/4" balance point.

    Price: £175 delivered SOLD

I'm sick, you know how much I wanted that one - gutted. Still, makes me feel a bit more restrained as I have just ordered a right hefty TW !

          Not quite mate !

Yes have got the laminated cue, it's very good actually and has convinced me to go back to Maple. I doubt I would of used the WPT cue, but just wanted it ! The laminate was from Ton Praram, so was way cheaper than the Coutts version.

The cue from Trevor is Black and Black & White Ebony alternate multi spliced ! He tried to explain it to me, but he lost me ! Effectively at least three lots of alternate splices, but he is doing the top set slightly differently so the B&W will be flowing into each other. Specs have stayed the same apart from the Maple shaft - 58", 18oz, 8.5mm and balance around 18.

Will be selling my Trevor now though to balance the books a little.

Very nice cue but too short for me, only kept it for one of my mates to use, but he doesn't play much nowadays, so decided to sell it to someone who may get more use out of it. I have other cues my mate will have to put up with lol

Welshpool Trading ceased trading (sorry couldn't resist) a couple of years ago and I believe TSF member bitter (Paul something) was the man behind the firm. Not sure where they were based.
                    Up the TSF! :snooker:

Was that last bit a joke?
They were based in Welshpool. Love mine is not cosmetically 100% but it's a pretty good cue.
