Used to have a shop in Wimbledon . Robert Osborne worked there for a few months .
I believe that he has a shop down by the south coast .
Tony Meo used a Keith Auld cue .
I bought my 1st cue from him about 25 years ago .

I suppose like all lesser known makers, they can produce some great cues and some rather sh!t cues, i'd still avoid him if members have had trouble with him in the past...Don't let the fear of losing be greater than the excitement of winning...

I must admit that i thought it was very good . Cost me about £130 at the time . Just plain ebony cue with the joint very low down on the shaft . Regret selling it .
I believe Keith had a bit of ill health when he had a few issues with the quality of his cues .
Would like to see what they are like nowStill trying to pot as many balls as i can !

Keith Auld, Dan Shelton and PoolQJunkie had fairly similar stories. They all promoted themselves as professional cuemakers, took a lot of orders (showing just how many desperate cusomers are really out there) then dissappeared ....
But the collective memory of TSF is very short, and a number of people rely on that fact.Tear up that manure-fed astroturf!
