I believe now that cue is hanging in Robert Osborne's workshop.
Stephen Maguire - not sure, but would not be surprised if Stephen has had one in the past - anyone?
If that's the case, is it possible that Graeme Dott won his World Championship in 2006 using an Andrew Gibbs cue I wonder?

Yes he did and as Dean quite rightly says , it is sitting in Robert Osbornes workshop . Robert made a cue for him which he used for one season .

Never asked for the Gibbs cue to be sent back . If it was me , it would have been framed .

Yep, according to Greame's book, his Championship winning cue broke just before the start of the 2009/10 season.
Went to a "company in London", but couldn't be repaired. In fact, they told him "the wood was diseased and should be thrown away.
It is , without doubt, the worst cue I have ever seen in the possession of a professional snooker player."

Just re-inforces the belief, that you can't just throw money at a cue to get THE one.

His book's a good read btw.

8mm Neil,no wonder it never lasted that long with the hours that Graeme put in.I hated watching him on tv as I was always waiting for the ferrule to fly off.Going to be in his company shortly will keep the pressure on about your cue.

                      8MM !!!! don't remember it being that small .

Amazes me how good these players are ......i played with a 9.1mm cue once and could not hit a barn door with a tractor !!

                      Fingers crossed with the cue

I think I read or saw it somewhere that Maguire was using a cue off Raymo, from here on the forum.

Yes indeed !...would surely be worth something on ebay too?

I wonder how many people can say they own a World Championship winning cue?..apart from the actual players of course
