  • eBay What is my John Parris Elite cue worth?

    Hi all,

Have not posted here in a long while, but considering selling my John Parris 1999 Elite cue:-
2 Piece ash/ebony with tulipwood on butt.
    57"
9 to 9.5mm tip - difficult to measure accurately
also have the tele half but extension for it which I bought at the same time.

The cue is straight, and well cared for. I have just re oiled it.

So what is a reasonable asking price?

    Cue now sold

            Must be right then lol
Parris cues always sell well because of the badge, irrespective of how good they play
Edit: plus yours is 13 + years old now so actually will sell better, get some pics sorted

Old 2 pc though so is it centre jointed? Do these still command high prices?

It is a butt joint I think as the joint is 16" from the bottom of the butt. Will get pics up tomorrow guys. Thanks for the input so far though - much appreciated.

Pics now added to original post. I would say this cue is in excellent condition as I have well cared for it over the years. She served me well, but surplus to requirements now as I have my Trevor White cue

Looks nice, by the way the wood on butt is Tulip wood (not rosewood)

Looks identical to the cue i sold on ebay about 2 years ago. It sold in less than 7 mins for my asking price wich was buy now at £195. Mine was also from 1999 and i bought it new then from the Snooker & Pool shop in England for £225.
Not played for 3 years and itching for a game....11-3-2017.

Paid quite a bit more for mine - bought directly from JP shop in London - Forrest Hill I think.

Does the cue have a base joint for taking a mini butt? I've sent pm as could be interested if you are selling.

it would fetch about £250 on ebay so less costs etc it is worth around £210. oh and the extension will fetch about £25-£30 so people are about right.
