Yes that is the 336 that I had. I'm not a collector and the cue was wasted on me as a player.
The bitter taste of poor quality remains long after the sweetness of low price is forgotten.

May be this is the reason still no bidder. I found the website for hunt & o'byrne, but I don't think will get any response. Hunt & o'byrne are no more new production, am I right Andrew?

Hunt & O'Byrne closed up years ago. Will Hunt carried on on his own, and IIRC O'Byrne (who was only the money-man and did not make cues himself) retired to AUS.
if you are talking about www.huntcues.com
I read soemwhere on TSF, this is a Chinese company mascarading under the name, notice the different fonts used and lack of badges on the cues
                  Up the TSF! :snooker:

Nowadays are so dangerous, Chinese using all the famous big name, Dave courts cue also have a different website in Chinese, 100% copy, they even said all cues made by Dave himself.i believe in the market have quite big quantity of imitaion hunt & obyrne cues. So meaning that will hunt cues are same quality with hunt obyrne cues? But as I know many of will hunt cues are customized in Thailand and send to will hunt for finishing, is not 100% made by will hunt himself.please correct me if I'm wrong.

yep I remember the Dave Coutts fake cues saga.
There have been a few cues with H&Ob badges which definitely are not the real-McCoy.
Will Hunt cues, being the modern ones as opposed to the ones made in the 80s, etc., I thought were Chinese not Thailand made but hey-ho , are not finished by Will Hunt himself (as he does not have workshop facilities(?)) but are made under his agreement I believe.

Omg, not even finishing by will hunt himself, just the name on it.

So now I have to change my target to mike Wooldridge and Trevor white. As I know this 2 cue maker have very very high quality control on the cue with their badge, most important still kinda able to get in touch personally. Jp ultimate are too famous, overcharge. Any comment on Robert Osborne ?

I agreed. I contacted Robert before, he quoted me price for red plate and green plate, plain ebony butt, but I never buy it bcoz I still don't have the budget.
