  • Wanted Looking for a John Parris ultimate

    Hi everyone

was wondering if anyone had a John Parris ultimate cue i don't fancy ordering one and waiting so not worried about the design. Specs would be 58" between 9.5 and 10mm tip and from 17 to 18oz.

Willing to pay cash or part exchange I have a John Parris paragon if anyone is interested.

    Cheers

I know you want an Ultimate, and i would never stop anyone from pursuing their dream, but have you checked out GBL cues ???
I was at Greenbaize on Saturday morning talking to Stu, and the problem is he is just too nice lol, he has seen many Ultimate cues and not one single one has been good enough to carry his GBL badge !!!
He is getting a really big delivery in soon, and his new website isn't far off from going live, might be worth a call

I'm glad i don't live near him or I'd end up broke with plenty of cues and cases! Did he give you a rough estimate when the website will be ready..?

He was working on it while i was there, so as soon as he gets it sorted lol, not sure exactly how long.
We were too busy discussing cues
He did say he is going to be offering a custom case option tho, ie you pick basic design and the colours of the leather

Aren't GBL cues made in Thailand? I suppose there is a difference between a high end UK cue and an Thai import, even if it's only the resale value.

Most UK cues are UK in name only

Yes, I heard about that. That's a reason for me to go for Parris

That's true but in playing/aesthetically wise there's none ime...

Well that's the problem, you get told lots of things by lots of people (who i have no reason not to believe), but no point in saying it as people will ask for proof, i havn't got that, and they dare not say it in public
