Well i don't think they teach you International dialing codes in School mate

I do not agree. The JP one is clearly overpriced.

The Tony wilshaw one, I liked and price seemed fair so told mr. alan einstein reynolds that if my ebay bids did not come out in my favor then I am going to buy his cue. basically I asked for 2 days time and even told him that during this time if he finds another buyer, i won't complain at all. that was as fair as it gets but the idiot comes out and posts this comment about me with absolutely zero substance to back it up

OK maybe you have your reasons but I would rather buy a new one from JP himself for 320£ instead of risking one from a stranger for 280£. Only reason I could buy a used JP was if it was cheap. I have a friend with a JP classic for 319£ and I have played with it and it is great. Only reason I started doubting that was this forum with so much negativity against Parris .. probably because people are jealous.

besides I am not complaining about his price but his behavior. Its his cue and he can ask for a 1000£ if he wants but he had no business behaving the way he did.

On top of that he speaks some language I do not understand because I only understand English not some village dialect from some far off village. I am so pissed. I thought this would be a place to get some help and apart from a rare exception or two, I just come across idiots claiming to be world famous cue dealers. Give me a break guys. I just needed a cue and at a fair price in a fair deal but this place is like hell. If you can help ... great .. otherwise just ignore my message ... why spread lies about me or bring my integrity into question.
Village dialect I am so offended.

By your own admission you know little about cues but you think you know enough to say the JP is overpriced! Its not, the red glue models are more saught after because better quality ash and ebony was available when they were made and JP himself was more involved in making them rather than his team. Why should you give someone £280 for it? Well because you asked for a 3/4 cue and the guy offered to sell it to you for a fair price. As for the Wilshaw at the price offered you'd almost be stealing it! Jason f**ked up but still not all of his cues are Thai cues, he still makes good handmade cues also. You've been offered 2 high quality cues at good prices, and your calling the people trying to help you idiots! Good luck getting help on the forum again

I already did. Two guys at my club. One has classic 319£ and the other ambassaddor 338£. Both look, feel, and play great. Personally, i liked ambassador better but classic was worth the price too. They both had what I needed. Its just that I read many bad things about JP and that created doubts. I do not care about red or yellow glue. Maybe red glue is even better but its like if I am happy with a Honda why buy a Ferrarri (just because someone likes it better?) ... All I wanted was to avoid vauxhalls being sold to me as ferrarris

read the language of JP guy and read what alan reynolds wrote about me with nothing to back it up. Neither can be justified and you are making a fool of yourself by trying to do so.

As far as cues are concerned, I am willing to concede that I do not know much about them. Actually I do not care about quality of ash or glue color or whether JP did it himself or not. All I want is that I enjoy playing with it and the two I tried were both great. I'd happily order one from JP website but this forum poisoned me against JP. Besides I had not tried any of the other cues so I was curious because you all say there r better cues available much cheaper than JP cues though I am yet to see any and all that are offered to me are even more expensive than JP's. After all this, I think I know what to do. I asked for help not bullocks.

think you mean BOLLOCKS which happens to be what you're talking :-)
By the sound of it you know absolutely nothing about cues. Don't care about the quality of the ash, the shaft makes a massive difference between what's good and what's not! Your missing the point, the red glue models were arguably better cues, so paying £40 quid less than a new one for a better cue makes sense to me.
