              It a silver ferrel , helps with ball control nice sound when contact with white.

                    So its more of a nickletip than a nickleback then. Got it now. Need get one of those to control my cue ball

                      I don't know about this ferrule , but it has been said before that the stainless steel ones produce less throw than the brass ones, maybe this is what is meant by helps to control the cue ball, just a guess.

                            Not only that, but I asked why he's selling one with a badge, and he said it's his own cue !

                            I imagine . . . this one will be best quality selected woods used.
