Is this stuff exactly like the original stuff from the 80's and 90's before Triangle started using a different composition? I can't understand why they stopped making it or supplying it only to find out it is still manufactured but only for limited quantities? Can anyone post a pic of this because I'm not sure its the original stuff, when I say pic I don't mean google an image, an actual pic of what DeanH has.
            Cheers.

It is the original stuff muck , i bought the last box off ebay a while ago , they had to stop making it cause it contained lead , just like the oil based paints etc .

yep I believe back in the 90s the formula of the colourant had to be changed due to health & safety (lead could be it )
by the time a new formula was perfected I think the UK market had stopped ordering it.
Once I found it and tried it, it took me back to the 80s/90s, as you say
This stock has been sourced from Tweeten themselves.

I will get a picture up in a mo for you.

Cheers Dean, does look like the old stuff. I remember triangle brought out a darker green variant which looked close but it was too dark but the problem was the chalk really stuck to the cue ball. I've had full boxes of both but I've kinda settled with the lighter green now. If you accepted a cheque I'd pay for a box off you but I doubt you want the hassle of paying it in? Been diddled with paypal in the past so refuse to use them now!

                          hi cueman
The really dark green, I remember that in the past, my thoughts was that it was fake, or maybe one of the attempts by Tweeten to get a replacement colourant right.

Had my first go with the chalk today, hardly left a mark on the table, I played ten shots screwing red into bottom bag from pink spot and white back into middle bag, left slight mark on the table and that was chalking every shot, if I had done that with the light green chalk it would have left a line between cue ball and ob, after the same routine, so it's a thumbs up from me.
This is how you play darts ,MVG two nines in the same match!

It might not have left any visible marks on the table but you can sure the chalk dust is still there. It's just that the dust is dark green and can't be so easily seen.
