        Hi Dean and Others,

Forgive my ignorance, but what can one expect to experience in an A - B comparison of the Spruce v Green currently available ?

not sure what you mean exactly but what I have found is that the spruce chalk:
          1) goes onto the tip easier and covers better/evenly, less swipes to get the chalk coverage you are looking for
          2) stays on the tip better, no puffs of dust when hitting the cue ball, so less chalking required
          3) less chalk marks on the cue ball
          4) a better "feel/sound" on cue ball impact (very personal subjective opinion)
Others have noted less marks on the table, I would say that is down to the colour being closer to cloth colour

Can't say I have found that Stevie. I have a MW super tip on, so it could be different than a laminated tip.

i always find a new block needs a bit of use to match the profile of the tip and cover properly, so will likely be fine after a bit of play.

Little tip to make your chalk last a lot longer if like me you have a new one when the paper starts to break , wrap the bottom and sides in clear sellotape , lasts twice as long . ..

Hi Dean I would like to try a Box 12 m8 please send me payment details thank you. I have many gross boxes of newer stuff but will let you know if i find any difference with these as i have tried most Inc: Darker/Lighter etc.

I dont think anybody has mentioned this but i always ask suppliers to wrap and seal chalk or tips over and over althou most of them come sealed they still get DAMP/COLD thru the Post thats the end of them and i have Gross Boxes here that arent fit for the Tip due to being in the Post too long and got COLD/DAMP!

Dean if you send me box of 12 please wrap and wrap with cling film etc as much as possible please thank you.

                              Cheers Gaz.
