"This cue is 14 years old and one of the original red glue models which means hand made by Parris himself."
Not sure this is factually correct, is it?
The red glue indicates it was made before to a certain year (which would that be?) when JP changed glues but it does not actually definitively mean the JP made it himself, does it?

Don't think the red glue is the test to see if john made it himself. However is the cue is indeed 14 years old, prob would be made by john. It doesn't look that old to be honest, could be wrong. Nice stick regardless

The red glue only stopped being used about 6-7 years ago I think and Parris definitely hasn't been making cues himself, especially the standard range cues for a lot longer than 14 years

John Parris, still makes cues himself. But not for everyone. In my opinion, Good quality of Parris cues were made between 1980 and 1990. But I d' not think you can find one. At least, not for sale.
                    btw, nice looking cue.
