  • Wanted A Cue like Ken Doherty's

I look for a cue Ken Doherty plays with its unique ash wood. Any helps? regards

I don't know the make of Ken's cue as the only information I have found is that it is a "rack cue" found somewhere in the past. It is an ash with ebony machine spliced butt and could have been modified by Parris.
Hopefully someone may come on with information that could help you.
    Up the TSF! :snooker:

think your right there dean, he has said in the past he found it in a club on the rack and bought it ' cheaply' from the owner of the club.

does look like the old parris master cue which is no longer made. but they do crop up from time to time on ebay.

HI met Ken Doherthy when he came to Montreal Quebec a few years ago to give an exhibition match also with Jimmy White however Jimmey could not make the trip to Montreal Quebec Canada. Ken showed me his cue he found it in a old snooker Club however did not ask him which make was his cue. He told me he paid gbp 5.00 for it

Cheers Leonard from Montreal Quebec Canada

Yes and the Peradon Edwardian looks more like the doherty cue. But Kens cue originally was a one piece cue before it gets modified by cue makers and spliced into 3/4 cue. But his unique ahs wood only kens cue has. regards

yes but his ash wood has unique indentations that I saw never on another cue.

its hard to find one tht looks like ken's cue. ken's cue has a very low joint, the joint is positioned lower than any ordinary 3/4 piece cue. check this listing on ebay http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/tony-wilsh...3D141107012487

Yes but this was made to him by a cue builder because his cue got damaged years ago on the butt end! Originally his cue was a 1 piece one! Looks near similar to the peradon Edwardian. regards
