just going by the photos on ebay mate - font looks wrong and too near the edges of the badge, colour of badge looks wrong and splices too thick for john. sorry to be a pest.

Well I've been away from here for a while but it seems some things don't change!

There's also a John Parish cue on ebay with the special tip shape, which
has been curved to follow the shape of the case by the look of it :-

"I have a wonderful John parish cue, its a 10mm tip curved with case, Collection only please

Ironically, it may be a good cue with a bad description, but I'm always suspicious
when there's more pictures of the case, than the cue.

I wont link it, but a search of John Parish throws up a very small results field.
