Are you saying you made it Trevor ???
Way i see it, it is probably an old plain ebony machine spliced pear wood cue that has been over spliced to mimic a Mannock

I have not seen one made by anyone else where a B&W stamp has been used.

The other issue is that to my (albeit rather limited knowledge of it) is, that Glover has not and does not make machine spliced cues.

If that is correct, this would have to be a doner cue, and simply have lower splices and badge added later.

Of course, I could be wrong on that, but as it stands, I cannot see why this would be a cue made by anyone specific.

I heard he has some old stamps, etc. from when the old makers closed down...

Well, a specialist stamp maker can at least.

I have made a few of these cues, using a B&W stamp which was made for that very purpose. However, the first stamp was wrong, and was far too rounded, whereas the original is more a squashed oval, like this one here. The later stamp made and used on the last few I did was smack on just like this. I'm not saying I made this cue, but I could have done.

My question was simply how does Gareth know it's a Glover cue.?
