    That's a fair point Karlos, you see loads of cues for sale, made by the top cue makers, after being owned for only a couple of weeks, but they have been made to exact specs, it doesn't mean the materials or workmanship is poor,in fact you couldn't get any better, it's just that wood can behave differently every time.
    Two ways to look at it, go expensive probably won't lose much if the cue doesn't suit, or go cheap and you haven't invested much so you can't lose much, if the same thing happens. If I could I would go the first route, just for the quality of workmanship.
