Un badged James Butters 3/4 maple cue
Good honest cue, perfect for those who don't care about brand image lol, has a "universal" butt joint, but not sure which extensions fit it.
    Specs: 59", 9.75 ferrule, 17.65 oz, 29 butt, 17 1/2" balance point, 3/4 split at 13"
    Nice cue at sold delivered

        jrc:

I have a James Butters 1pc cue in really nice shape but with no extensions and I believe I must have asked too much for it as it hasn't sold and no one has asked about it.

What does a nearly-new James Butters ash with a fairly fancy butt go for these days? (I got it in trade and there are none of these cues over here)

        Thanks,

Hi Terry, I enquired about it but its the postage costs that kill any deal for us here in the UK. Over here a badged one is £120 - £150 and as Andy says unbadged anywhere between 80 - 100.
I wont reveal the price you quoted me but as yours had no extensions and the postage costs were so high its cheaper to buy here in the U.K.
Now if you lived next door to me we could have done a deal ha ha.

              Thanks Andy and Maverick:

I thhink I got taken a little bit in the trade I made for the Butters cue. I'm going to have to drop the price. I looked at it and it's a well made cue and very straight with a smooth shaft but probably not worth the price I asked for it although it does play really nice.

To me James makes a top class cue which are very much underpriced.

Yep too right, he needs to get some more badges sorted, it would be money in the bank !!
Pleased he has let the current sale run, he often lets them go far too early (a few to me lol) but by leaving them till the end, they will find a better price level

He does end a lot early yes, yet when I tried to get a quick buy now price from him when I offered to pay direct with paypal he was very evasive and wouldnt give me a price, suggesting he wanted the auction to run. Few days later the listing was ended and a couple of weeks after that someone else sold it on ebay ha ha.

Who are you asking? I have a maple 1pc James Butters with no extensions for sale but shipping to UK kills my sales

If I can get an unbadged one near my specs I am going to snap it up, if they are around 90 pound how can you go wrong.

                            What are your specs ??
James seems to be creeping up his prices, but still a massive bargain

I would have had that maple one off you JRC, but it too long, 57.5 to 58 around a ten mill tip but the high nines like that one would do.
