  • eBay trevor white cue (potentially for sale)

    Hello

I have a tw cue, but think its a bit too whippy and light for myself and wondering what going prices are (im not looking to make profit due no waiting time theory just a fair price im after)

Its 3/4 jointed 58 length, 9.3 tip (needs new ferrule) 17oz weight, ebony butt with 4 splices of curly purpleheart over thick maple splices (i beleive thats how tw said the wood was on the mail order) with 11 straight ash chevrons on shaft

there are 1 knicks in the butt but only and scratch which maybe got out but havent done because they dont affect anything or notice them without looking hard for them

Also included mini butt and telescopic ext

Like i said may not be a deffo sale (may swap also) as i need to find a cue also first but guidlines be appreciated

    Thanks matt

If your not looking to make a profit, why not just put it up for what you paid for it?

attached thread of a few pics of my cue...

          http://www.thesnookerforum.co.uk/boa...ight=drury1986

think i will need to check tip mm as i have contradicted myself ( it has had a new ferrule in past so wonder if a 9.5 wasnt fitted to it)

How come it needs another new ferrule? Two replacements seems alot in 2 1/2 years.

its the way i chalk the tip catches top part of ferrule and wears it over time, a habit ive never been able to get of and also the way my chalk shapes when using it

I used to be able to use my chalk to reduce the wood dia just under

the ferrule by a good few mm, until someone pointed out the possible consequences.

Subsequent ( and dearer ) cues now have more care taken over them.

                Concentrate when I'm chalking now.

im that bad i get a mate new chalk and let him wear it in to a perfect shape for me he gives it ba k to me and i buy him a new block but unfortunately he doesnt play as much as me

Carry a little swann Morton scalpel in my case and trim the top off the chalk before I start playing..

To rid the points on the chalk, I rub it in a circular motion on a piece of rough sandpaper. It's quick and easy and levelled. I do it down in my workshop before going to the club so as to contain the mess of the chalk dust.
The bitter taste of poor quality remains long after the sweetness of low price is forgotten.

or as we say down the pub, rub the chalk down on the outside bricks
                            be gentle though
