Can't remember exactly and a bit complicated cos I doubled up with another forum member who was also buying a C-Brand. Think it was about £16 each.

C- brand cues are still good value even if you have to pay charges IMO.
Then I have to keep my fingers crossed during the cue packing process I can issue a note and attach with the cue stating that the cue is a sample and the cost I charged is wholesaled, if this can help. Don't want to disturb your customs but I started this selling hobby so that players with a limited budget can get a quality cue for play. Tks for infor. Very helpful indeed.

My cue almost here, but the dreaded words on the tracking say "Invoiced to the recipient to obtain goods. The fee must be paid"
I guess it's going to be a letter, hope it's not too much

All my cues will be posted as "Sample, with US$55 Value".
It normally helps on the custom clearance.
                Fingers crossed.

Not bad mate. Wonder how they work it out? If VAT is 20% then they valued the cue at £62.10? Maybe used Suvit's $55, said sod-it this is a nice cue so we'll double it!! lol.
When I tried to research this a few years ago I seem to remember that they charge DUTY and VAT. I guess the rule is... if its a small amount pay and if its a large amount query it.
look forward to hearing more when you've had a hit.

I think the import VAT is payable on cue value and also the postage cost !
The Customs Duty was 0, as was the Excise Duty, scheduled for Tuesday delivery via Parcelforce

Yep I did a free calculation on the web thingy, and it charges you for the package and the postage added together then works out what you owe.
