No offence taken Dave, I was dissapointed that Jim chose to give his idea on the value with the cue split into cue + badge,

especially just half an hour after my 1st post. This just made out that the cue was worthless, which I and by the look of it

ADR147 don't agree with. Not out to fleece anyone here, just get realistic offers from members/collectors for a rare cue.

Hmmm, I think when you are looking for antique cues you want to find a cue of 57-58 inches. The old cues were often shortened because the tip would split (due to no ferrule) and it would need to be shortened and a new tip put on.

So shorter cues are worth less because they have more of the original shaft cut off and have had more use over the years.

Nice try, but willie smith was the first major player to have a brass ferrule.

Almost certain it would of been longer when made, so no longer original, therefore no longer desirable
Only way to realise it's worth is to try ebay 99p start see what happens

Quite addictive this buying and selling malarkey.
