They are both the two of the best cuemakers of the world. If they have problems with each other, they can better dissolve it, in private with each other. Normally, it is the job of Admin (Freet) to say that !!!! . Where the **** is this kid, anyway ???Normally he is talkative. But at this moment, he pulls his mouth shut !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Fact, Andy's integrity was called into question, he was accused of cheating the people he was doing business with, he had conned everyone who had bought a cue off him. This is calling the mans whole moral being into question, and could have damaged his whole business, and you say it's water under the bridge, and he should let it go! or shouldn't say anything when his accuser is asking for three times the price for a cue he's done very little work to, and to my mind has a cheek to complain there's hardly one hundred pound profit in it, ffs, there's making a living and there's taking the utter ****, 125% profit for at best a couple of hours work! come on now.

I did'nt say , he should let it go !!! I'm sure Crispian said many good things about andy (as I have witnesses), several times. And that goes for Andy too. These two have respect for each other. And for each other 's work. Maybe some different of opinions. Personally, I hope that w be dissolved in private. I do'nt need Approval of Crispian, to know What are the qualities of Andy and what Andy Travis can do !!!!!!!. As I said, they are both the best (regardless of what they say about each other).

Sorry Ramon I never meant you , I meant on previous posts it had been suggested, Andy should just get over it and move on, and he was jealous, be honest if someone said you were cheating people at your work, and proclaimed this in public would you just shrug your shoulders and say, never mind I'll just let it go and move on, I'm probably just jealous, I'm sure I couldn't , and if what was said originally could definitely be proved to be untrue there would be a court case to answer at the very least, if a public appology wasn't forthcoming.

I don't think anybody looks good when bickering on a forum.

No problem itsnoteasy ( thanks for your explanation) !!!!, you say your opinion. I understand the frustration of both sides. Believe it or not, if you go to other countries (outside the UK). People zoasl Andy Travis or Crispian Jones, are seen as a legend. And indeed they are. You're right, some things can be hard to forget, but personally, I hope it comes to an end. Because they both deserved better. In my opinion, everyone in the UK should be proud of these two. And indeed they are.

This was started in public so the apology should be on here

just to let you all know I have had a request from crispian jones to be removed from the forum which is something we do not do but I have made it impossible for him to log back in with his account which should be a good solution for what he wants and he is welcome back any time upon requesting that I reset his password and email address.

This is what globalisation is all about, we're all getting shagged up the rear by the 1% who have all the money. Take a look at Dragons Den and ask yourself if these people are good and fair and are to be looked up to, why don't I myself act like them albeit in a smaller way.
As for Crispian I myself think he's gone about his business in an OK manner, upfront about his dealings and profit margins. The last cue I made cost me thirty quid alone in sandpaper as the butt wood (Ipe Tabaca) was too hard to be planed down to within 1mm which is what I normally sand from to the final finish. Sold on ebay for forty quid and I was gutted TBH.

He was wrong about Andy though and should have said so on this forum.

I don't have a problem with Crispan, I think he went about things wrong, and continues to, (but if he thought something was wrong he had every right to say so )and has maybe been too honest for his own good. What he has shown is there is no cue worth £600 IMO , if I am wrong let someone explain to me how these cues are any worse than a Parris cue, in what way? I have read a few cue makers say the best ebony and shafts are from Asia now, so if the best can be bought for eighty quid and just need spliced and tidied up, where is the rest of the cost coming from, or are we ,as you say Vmax getting tollie dunted.

As already said Crispian has been honest about his cues, too honest, not many people in any sales field will tell you what price they buy goods in at, and they shouldn't have to. I've never been lucky enough to own or even see either Crispian's or Andy's cues in person, but from the pictures on here its easily seen that both produce first class beautiful cues. Got to say though if Crispian was definately wrong about Andy's cue then a full apology should have been swiftly put on here, then this could have been put to bed for the benefit of both parties.

I disagree with you there. Honesty and transparency in every transaction is the way it should be, then you can decide if you want to be shafted, no pun intended.
I for one would never consider a pointed stick to be worth over two hundred pounds when the bulk of it is supplied at only eighty, but for those that do then cough up, walk away, play just as badly with it and sell it on to some other poor smuck who gets a hard on over wood grain.
When all is said and done a cue is a tool for playing a game with and there is very little difference between what is said to be a good one or a bad one.
