no such think as ebay uk its a world wide site and if you list an item is viewable worldwide, million items listed by overseas sellers on the website available to buyers in all four corners of the globe it is upto the seller to advertise item correctly including postage options, buyer bid in good faith and seller would have been monitoring auction to see what price it had reached, bidders feedback score etc, and if as stated advertised elsewhere ready to pull plug in case he had sold it, and that would have told him bidder was not uk based.
yes guy new to ebay but should have fully checked out auction rules before selling,

you are wrong, seller never stated uk buyers only, he QUOTED £25 delivery guy would have been in his rights to pay £725 and expect delivery, sellers should make terms clear and also if listing postage make it clear that postage may be higher depending on location, in this case seller was in the wrong

There is an ebay site for most countries which is dictated by the domain. '.com' which is the top level domain is the worldwide site but not everything which is listed on the constituent sites is on this one. The seller chooses whether to ship outside of their country, which dictates this.

not about me being wrong its about a bloke selling a cue then not honouring sale, had plenty of opportunity to cancel overseas bidder but didn't, was looking for a higher price and didn't get it, like a lot of people on ebay and other selling sites has no scruples.class or integrity and despite some errors stand by my assertion that hes a knob.

Yeah but overseas bidders were not welcome so wasn't really a sale was it, mind you he could of offered a 2nd chance buy to person at £680 i think it was ?? I think if you want a really high price for something you should state a buy it now price
