  • eBay James Butters ash cue.

I've a beautiful old James Butters one piece that's 16.8ozs and 9.9mm. 4 by 12" splices of Cocobola with a green veneer and SD joint Only £150.00 delivered and a lot of chevrons. Someone the other day called it a boat pattern. 12 or so chevrons going towards the tip from the middle and about 10 going towards the butt with the pattern reversed on the other side. Gorgeous ash.
My first Butters cue but it's too big a tip for me. Using a 9mm or 9.25 at the moment. Butters of course!

Sorry mate, forgot the length. It's 58" and not badged. He didn't badge his early cues I understand. I'm doing a proper picture shoot tomorrow at the club and will put on a Photobucket link tomorrow night. Just a spur of the moment thing and my missus who's tripping over cues.

Geez, is that you? Stupid question I know. When you asked to get it back I was probably hypo or got mixed up with another Butters I had. Did you not get the emails I sent you? No better now mate but still just as confused. If you'd replied to my apologies I'd have sent you the cue no problem; thanks for the photos though. Same cue I think. If you want it back it's yours. It's too good a cue to be in a tube in my club.
          Sorry.

Right, after talking to ste bed price is now £126 and postage of around £14.00 depending on whether I can get a tube under 1.5M for Royal Mail or £13 for collect+. As he said, had a good makeover from Trevor and a new ferrule. Can't remember if I put a Supertip on it.
At Fulham tomorrow so can't take more pics till Monday.
            Steve.

Ha ha :-) could have sworn I put postage in front of it. I'll amend. Glasgow to London, 403 miles both ways as I'm in West Ken and you'd have to come in via the M1 and down to me through Cricklewood etc. At whatever petrol prices are these days it'd be cheaper to come by train from Central Station and go to Olympia then meet me for a pint in the Beaconsfield. Shouldn't take you more that 14 hours. Camra pub the Beaconsfield too. Pricey but then all London pubs are. Used to be the cheapest in W14 then they put the prices up.

Sorry mate, my old man was ill and had to go to Belfast. Got back yesterday. Good news.Cue got recovered. Anyway, at Stoke tomorrow trying to keep Fulham up. Back late and after pool council meeting Sunday am I'll have a good look and get back to you. I suspect I sold my last 3/4 spec cues but I've got about 15 cues left so talk to you Sunday afternoon.
