Do what everyone else does and put it on at what you'd like to get with a bit added on for a haggle margin. That's how classifieds work.

What you're trying to do is an ebay like starting price and want to see what you'll actually get for it. That's not how classifieds work.

wanted £370 then realised people would pay more so now we're back into 'pm me with offers' country.

Kinda makes a farce of a classified section if you can just change the original prices due to demand.

Just put the thing on at £500 and haggle down or re-list it

Should choose youre comments more wisely especially when they are kind of personal , ive given more cues away for good causes on this forum than you have probably sold , valuable ones to , so took that a bit personal even though i know it was,nt intented to be

If I was selling anything I would make my own mind up on how I wanted to go about it. Wasn't aware of any rules you need to follow. My objective would be to get a good price for the item but if someone wanted to pay a bit more then so be it.

Well this new "Panjo" thing makes you put a price in !! or best offer, which usually means below the asking price, you cannot just ask for offers. I suppose the best way around it is to start at £1000 and then select the best offer during the following days????

Thanks, need to have a think about that. Not sure if that's good or bad. Suppose folk can still go the e- bay "offers over" route and put up with paying the fees.
Better leave Hotpot to get on with it.
