I agree it's a very nice shaft, is it the blank underside you don't like Sanman?

I am spoilt when it comes to shafts on cues. Have at least a dozen cues with shafts that would put that shaft to shame. That being said the look of a shaft does not make a cue a good player but i would have expected far better shaft on a high end cue like that. But I do love the work on the butt.

i have a jp red glue special cue bout 20yrs old fantastic looking and plays great, my friend has a limited edition cue (recent) and i'm not joking it feels like a bit of balsa wood ! the shaft just has no quality feel to it and is very light ? honestly your best bet is to go to jp's shop and he has loads of real nice cues off the rack, imo getting mail order leaves you open to being palmed off ! this one however looks to have been made a while ago being as its a rejected design for the L.E cues.
