The cue would be trimmed at the top then if it is indeed too short afterwards splices will be added on the bottom and joint refitted at bottom of butt. Cost of the job new ferrule plus extended was £80 around 6 years ago cost around £120-£130 now I'd assume so not that expensive if someone wanted to pay extra just to get a 9.5mm tip

Yea like you can get a Trevor White cue for that price you're the idiot it's not a huge amount of work. If people are saying I could have sold my cue for £100-£200 more if it was a 9.5mm maybe it's worth the investment or alternatively the buyer knows what can be done which you obviously didn't know being so arrogant and ignorant

I feel sorry for the guy selling this cue, it is disgusting that certain people have hijacked this thread, if the tip is too big or too small you could have it altered quite easily without making the cue too short!! its 60" to start with for gods sake!
plus if you really wanted it to stay 60" then you could have the cue retapered and lower the tip size.
or if you wamted a bigger tip you could have the cue shortened by a very small amount and get a bigger tip.
and it looks like a lovely cue and if i had the money i would happily pay £650 for it.
plus ADR is an experienced cue dealer, if he sold it for £600 then im sure it was worth the money!
It is amazing how many people become experts once they get a keyboard infront of them.
