Didn't think that cue would be for sale long.

Presume this the same cue? :
          http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Beautiful-...item2590c33bcd

If so what a shocking (if not fraudulent) omission that Dave Coutts had bob all involvement in the making of this cue...?

“Handspliced Dave Coutts Cue” – no it’s a hand spliced cue made by **** knows who with a dave coutts badge..

"cue is a custom spec" - implies Dave made this to someone's specs - he didn't it was a cue made by some other maker which he fitted his badge to.

And as for : “Finally the reason for sale is the continued sale of some of my cue collection.” – this kind of omits the fact you bought this around 2 weeks ago…

Given I absolutely know this was sold to whoever is selling it, as exactly what it was, I find this a complete and utter **** take.

Dave did £150 of work to the cue Mike, so has been involved apart from badge fitting !

In fact I'd like Dave/Louise to confirm what you get for £150's worth of work too, since I was quoted to add a front splice and refinish for £60 not that long ago..

Not doubting that at all, I'm saying the ebay listing doesn't seem to say that?

The best bit about that listing is when the seller says "rare chance" when in truth you can get on the blower to coutts and get a brand new cunstomized one in 8 weeks might even be less.
I really like that cue but with a listing like that you would think the seller is selling a handmade one

Yep it was either 8 or 10 weeks for just a customised one and about 364 years for a handmade one
