Glover has made cues with shafts like this before i had a mannock rep with a similar shaft, also the countersunk sd joint looks fitted the way Tony usually fits them, can see it being a Glover cue but maybe he got drunk and fitted the wrong badge lol

I have said before that I don't know why TG cues go so cheap as used. You still have to wait close to 6 months and they aren't exactly cheap. The YOAsh I just received was £500 with selected shaft made to look aged, Macassar ebony butt and mini butt.
I got told its because he lets other people use his badges. There was a cue being advertised here once as a TG YOA. It turned out to be just an old cue that had been refurbed and a badge from TG was added. I feel like I'm fully used to my TW cue and I probably won't get back anything like what I paid for the TG.
Back to the for sale thread - whatever it is, it is a lovely cue for the money. Who knows maybe it started out as a TG YOA and a previous owner got someone to remove the badge, add the splice and refit it.

Tony Glover Ye Olde Ash Cue
Well I took two cues to the club this afternoon, my Trevor White and a newly refurbished machine spliced Joe Davis Special. Guess what? My Trevor White cue spent the afternoon stood by the scoreboard while I was playing very nicely with my machine spliced rubbish :snooker:

That this is not a replica of a Ye Olde Ash Cue?
