John Parris Special cue 3/4 ash jointed 1" above splices

Selling a beautiful John Parris made to measure 3/4 Special cue jointed 1" above the splices at a very reasonable price, The cue is 57.5", 20 oz, 30 mm butt diameter, 9.5 mm tip size with medium elkmaster tip currently on. The decoration on the african ebony hand spliced butt is as follows: 4 secondary splices of carreto with black and white veneers with a face splice in amboyna burr with white and black veneers. S.D. joint at the bottom of the butt also. The shaft has a beautiful unblemished grain. The cue has not been altered and took 28 weeks to make and is in as new condition with no dinks. Brand new this cue would cost 666.92 GBP (using the Cue Builder on Parris Cues' website) and has a wait time of between 16-24 weeks approx. This cue at 20 oz has proved a little too heavy for me and I am now using a 17.9 oz Regency Parris cue so looking to sell quickly at a fair price and avoid having two cues. Collection from Leicester. Cash on collection. Thanks

    List Date: 8/25/2014
    Location: Leicester, United Kingdom

I previously had a 16.5 oz cue which was just too light in my opinion for certain shots and I felt the extra weight and solidity would help. And it was around the time Steve Davis had a 20 oz cue so thought I'd have one made up. For my game somewhere in the middle suits me better

Oh yeah theirs a cue in the photo. I missed that. Was busy wondering why he's using an old door as a coffee table.

Nice Looking Cue and as already said if you dont get any Joy with selling it as a 20oz Cue maybe worth spending few quid re-weighting it as it will definately sell then.

Yes, I've taken the weight into account when deciding what to sell it for gazza147. My thoughts were get it re-weighted and sell for 550 which is still a fair price, or sell unaltered for 450 at 20 oz.
