James Butters one piece ash cue for sale

Keep missing out on ebay ? here is your chance to get hold of a James Butters one piece ash cue with a snakewood front splice on a thin maple veneer. Good looking cheap cue this. Shaft is medium to stiff.
One small point, the snakewood splice has a crack in it which is very common with this wood, everything is solid tho so just cosmetic, only noticeable when you catch it at the right angle.
    Specs: 58 1/4", 9.8 ferrule, 17.6 oz, 29.5 butt, 16 1/2" balance point

    List Date: 2/7/2015

Is it a tendency for snakewood to crack like that? I've seen many examples of cues in snakewood to do that..

Why doesn't James badge his cues?

From what Andy G said he only has a limited number of them, and just recently been using an old batch of green writing ones that were too big, so has been hand modifying them. He should get his act together and order some more, as price difference would certainly be worth it to him
