Pity he cant sign his signature as well as he used to make cues. Looks like a 6yr old has scrawled that

when you have a stack of hundreds of certificates to sign in one sitting, you tend to get scrawlly with it after a while

I think the Chinese market love certificates, as Coutts and Cook also signed stacks of certificates when they signed their contract.

You can see a lot of thought has gone into the design. No cost spared. Publisher 98 maybe? Anyway we're hi-jacking the guys thread and we musn't do that

That's a little bit of a childish comment there mate, and reading on no doubt you think you're having a go a me and my thread by hijacking it...but trying to ridicule arguably one of the top 3 cue makers of the modern era, that's just ridiculous !

Probably something to do with his chronic back problem . He can't stand at a lathe for too long .
Still trying to pot as many balls as i can !

Does he sign his certificates while standing at a lathe? Thanks for that Neil. You'd think them Thai's would make the old fella a chair. Never mind its a lovely cue anyway and it will sell despite the certificate.

I still think it's in poor taste mate, and it's not too late to make some sort of formal apology, especially if there is a genuine medical reason as suggested by Neil and others. Often people will think out loud and even type things they don't really mean in jest, and I just hope that's all it was in this case?!

Well if you look at the actual post you will see a smiley face after the comment. It was all meant as a bit of banter and fun but all the same you are trying to sell a cue and we shouldn't be spoiling your thread, that's not nice for anyone trying to sell a cue, so for that I do apologise. Maybe lessons to be learnt by all perhaps if I may draw your attention to posts 16 & 17 here
