Oh yes ADR, amazing to think how so many people have spent thousands of pounds on cues, that hardly any of them can use?!

What really tickles me is how many very expensive cues must still be on order with the likes of TW, Mike, Dave and Parris that still need to be paid for !

I think it's fairly self explanatory. I was responding to and replying to ADR's comment that cues aren't selling any more?...and the fact that there must be literally hundreds of thousands of pounds worth of cues still waiting on order and that all have to be paid for !

If its a dig at the traders that order cues with the intention of then selling them on for huge profits then yes maybe its no longer as easy as it once was.

If its a dig at ordinary folk who have paid good money for their cues and are just looking to recoup as much of their money back as they can then its a bit harsh.

But yes I too have noticed how top end cues are hanging around much longer and are not selling as easy as they used to. There are just too many being made to add to the ever increasing mountain of others already out there. They aren't like a car that maybe needs replacing every 10 years, a cue can last a lifetime so why keep making so many?

Think the golden age is finally over for the profiteers and its a buyers market now. Some good quality cues out there to be had these days at what are now reasonable prices compared to what they were originally bought for.

This is a spot on observation IMHO

with regards to the last paragraph, there's loads of top quality cues now that are affordable - GBL and Maximus for example - and hopefully / thankfully the days of whacking daft prices on cues, albeit excellent quality cues, may be coming to an end.

With regards to the OP - his price was originally pretty fair and is now a damn good price, again IMHO. Ultimately the market will dictate the price.

                hear, hear Byrom.

It's a free world, but these threads seem to get sidetracked more than often these days, with little thought for the impact to the seller.

If we're going to have to use, and pay for, panjo to sell, at least some protection from stray posts should be included in the price. .
