O does anyone know if other makes, Phoenix, Maximus etc have the same joint.

Master cue fit . I was using a master cue mini butt on mine until I got my GBL one . The only issue is that when tightened on the thread screws in all the way and is secure etc but the mini but didn't actually touch the end of the cue .....there was a slight gap between them as the joint met with each othern.

I could put up a picture to show what I mean if you like

If you have not already done it, I have done this loads of times. Measure the gap in the cue & extension, then take about 1/8 to 1/4 inch off the end of the male joint on the extension if that's enough. Round the cut off with a file or sander, job done at no cost. Dave Clark (nobbyclark).
