They are real asbthey registered a company call H and O, jusvthat the cue they make have nothing to do with cue maker Will Hunt nor Robert Osborne. Thats all.

I would imagine there are prob loads of 'stagnant' sites out there not being updated. Regarding 8ball's site I would think keeping the H&O on there would def increase traffic, if someone does try and
Buy one could always try and sell them something in stock.
a bad player who love cues

I still have email from Osborne when I asked him, and I asked him again when I went to his workshop in London.
So fake from start to finish.

Try buy one, I bet you would still get one from this site, I emailed them a couple of years back(2013/14) and they were still happy to make the cues.
You sure the Blue plates weren't made in the far east under licence or equivalent? I've been told you can't order one from the site. You mention in an earlier post that they offered to make you a 'Black Plate' badge? Have you still got the email or remember who replied to you?

I tried to find email where they said they could make, but must have deleted it unfortunately.
I have a few cues in collection so when I started was looking for H&O cue. I got a blue plate from ebay then found a thread on here.
Messaged R O and he said he had nothing to do with range site sells and never has.
Got money back for cue after time as seller said was genuine, that's when i emailed the site as then i knew they not legit.
Not keen on trying to order from site just to see if they will still supply the cue!lol
This has come up a few times and I always put my 2 pennies worth in primarily to stop a fellow forum member get something that's not quite what he thinks.
Maybe Hunt lets them make (or made) under license I don't know, but R O doesn't. Went off Hunt cues when they were made abroad - but that's another story!!lol
The blue plate I saw was ebonized not spliced painted on is best way I could describe it.

Was the Ebay store 8ballstore.com? No doubt there's bound to be someone selling fake H&O's as every other high end
Manufacturer has prob been faked at some point. I've just looked on the site again you can't order just online, Steve Grice and Tony Wilshaw cues all state 4-6 weeks delivery but the H&O cues don't have a delivery time. It's shame you haven't got the Badge email as you would at least had a name. Who knows what agreement was put in place when R&W split.......
