  • Aeon cue and case

For sale is my Aeon cue together with its extension and an almost new aluminium 3/4 length case. I bought it together with its original Triangle aluminium 1/2 length case (which I no longer have) from Thurston's in 1997, and it cost £175 altogether then. Aeon stopped making cues several years ago and they are now becoming increasingly collectable.

I haven't used it for the last 4 years, as I eventually realised it was a little too heavy for me, so now use a JP Special. However it is a lovely cue and is in excellent condition. I had the shaft refinished by John Parris before I got my present cue, and it actually has an even smoother feel than the Special.

    Looking for £100 + £10 p&p.

    Here is the spec:

3 piece, centre joint, plus quick-release butt joint at 13" to fit extension.
    Shaft: Ash, hand-spliced
    Butt: Ebony
Front splice: Kingwood? (not absolutely sure) on a maple veneer.
    Length: 58"
    Weight: 20oz
    Balance point: 18.25"
    Tip diameter: 9mm
    Butt diameter: 29mm
