  • Used Welsh Open Final Tickets

    Hi,

Couldnt get to the Snooker Final of the Welsh Open?
Missed the Great action that took place?
Want to have a memento of Selby's first Ranking Title victory?
Want to say you were there when Ronnie gave his runners up medal away to a youngster in the crowd?
Did you miss Ronnie drawing pictures after being frustrated at going 2-0 down?
You missed the Rocket collecting the balls up and setting them up for E.Williams?

Ok then this is for you....

I have used tickets that are in Fantastic condition, up for grabs.

The Welsh Open 2008 proved to be a thriller, where nothing seperated the Jester and the Rocket in the Opening 8 frames. (4-4)
Ronnie then came out all Guns blazing and making a couple of Century breaks to take an 8-5 lead and be 1 frame away from a fantastic 3rd WO Title.
Mark Selby did not read the script and pulled it back to 8-8, taking a good lead in the 17th frame before letting the Rocket launch again.
Ronnie failed to open the last Red on the table and in frustration attempted a double on the Red that would have seen him clear up. The red entered the jaws and made a move for the bulk pocket, slowing right down, had Ronnie been lucky and Snookered the Jester from Leicester? NO, the white dropped in the pocket and gave Selby another 4points and an easy pot on the Red to clear up, the rest as they sat is History and Selby took the Title home to Leicester!!

        A wee question,

For a couple of years now I've wondered why Mark's been named the "Jester" from leicester!
Apart from the obvious rhyme, I always thought of Mark as a pretty serious character.
Although running round the table 114 times was kinda funny...but it WAS for charity so well done.
   Hello Snooker Peeps!

Yeah - the little kid didn't know whether he was just supposed to look at it or keep it until Ronnie said for him to have it.
You want to have seen the wee fella - he was delighted! I heard him on the phone bragging to his friends afterwards. Very cute

                  That was you?
Everyone had a good chuckle at that - even Ronnie smirked!
There was no doubt about me being at the final - I was in the front row and got quite a lot of air time apparently *Cringe*

                    Yeah,
My brother phoned his Mrs and said listen out for me saying 'Go on Jester' so i said i would reply by shouting 'Go on Ronnie my Son'.
We got home at 1.30am and subsequently listened to it and then saw that we had made the Interview Camera.

Did you see me nick Ronnie's towel that he used for the cue? I asked the Snooker Director and he said no, so then I called over the bloke who introduces the players and he said no so i took it anyway!!! lol!!

                    Had such a great day.
I was in row g of the block behind ronnies chair!!

Funniest part was when I said to Mark could I have his chalk and he said that id been beaten to the question, so i asked him for his Cue instead, he laughed!!
