Thats bad news that you had your cue stolen recently! What sort of cue did you have originally? And are you looking for something similar for your replacement?

It was a john parris master cue. I play pool for my county and it went missing while i was refereeing a match

Its a shame that they don't make the Parris master cue anymore as you could have bought a replacement. Try mastercue or craftsman cues, they are meant to be decent at a reasonable price too

The Master cue td2 is not too dissimilar in style to your Parris cue which was stolen, its pretty cheap too under 85 notes

Haven't seen a North west cue in the flesh, but they are meant to be good quality

Well what more can I say, its north Wirral. People there even nicks your pints when you had your back turned.

Do you happen to be a member of Rocket Ronnie's in Wallasey? I am a member and I was the photographer when Ronnie opened the club. I dont go there anymore because the place is full of chavs and chavettes, the noise, swearing and brats running around its resembles a community centre for tearaways plus the table is dear. Unless you are parts of Danny Murphy's students and have exclusive table times away from the distractions it is a pretty dire place if you want to have a decent game.

Sorry to hear about your cue but what is your new one?

                      Hi There,

Well i was lucky to be given another JP master cue, but its got a slight warp in it so i was thinking of finding a new cue.

yeah i have the same views about rocket ronnies i never go in there if i can help it.

I live in New Brighton, i play in a local social club they have a snooker table in there but with only one table it can get heckit some nights, i also play pool for them

I have to say tho, i was at a county pool match when my cue went missing it could have been anyone and the hot favorite was a player from the opposing team.

I use a Mastercraft, they are based in Shropshire and make customised cues as good as anything Parris could turn out at fraction of the cost, in fact Parris use to buy their shafts from them before they set up their own business.

If the warp is not too bad there's a good possibility JP could sort it for not too much, either that or you could try a local cue doctor, just might be a cheaper way about things for you.

JP will actually straighten the cue out for free, this is part of the after sales care you get, so long as its a genuine JP cue! If the bend is only a couple of mm I wouldn't worry too much, it shouldn't affect your game, if its more than say 3mm then it might be worth sending it off and get it straightened, you'll only have to pay the cost of return postage
