No, the guy well known, i think his work has improved but i think i was a test case for him. A lesson for me but a costly one.

actually i just realised your description of an 'unflowing' taper sounds remarkably like an acuerate cue....

So, a Parris taper is supposed to be a pencil? May be he meant a "Paris" taper from Paris cue?

I'm still interested in a one piece if you still have any.

As mentioned over our emails, not fussed about splices and veneers.

i took Mike up on his offer and has built a really really good cue for me. In the Pro 3 design, with superb splicing on the butt, very classy. Also a top quality staft with arguably the most even spaced chevrons I have seen on a shaft that many people seek from a visual point of view

Also a special mention for the ostrich quill case also supplied, very good quality, and possibly the best "padded" of any leather case I have thus used, which at the end of the day should be the main concern in protecting the cue. Practicality over posseurbility!
Its not how well you play its how good you look playing that counts!

Yeah his service is also brilliant, all sorted and delivered within a day! Cant beat that can ya!?

On to something else, maybe this will sound odd but I love the way Mike's cues have the rounded points. Compared to my current cue, (which basically flat like a machine job) Mikes seem like complete round. Just felt like saying
