  • Cue Wanted

Hi everyone i have recently had a original Mannock cue stolen from my car while at a cash point......

I brought this cue from an old guy in the pub one friday afternoon and never re-alised what a quality cue it was until someone tried to buy it off me...

Has anyone got one for sale or know of anyone with one for sale???

    Thanks for reading this

Hello and welcome to the forum,

It may not be the same but on the B and W Billiards website they manufacture Mannock cues. Have a look here. They may be of the design you are looking for.

This is the only help that I can give you, sorry! :snooker:

          Bloody Hell £900 for a B&W!

I take it the shaft was pear?
Keep an eye on flea bay.
          ADR147 might have an idea.
I've never seen a Mannock at Craftsman but you could ask them.
          Any other old cue dealers?
Otherwise I bet it would be worth getting quotes from other cuemakers if your looking at a replica.
Trevor White has done some in that style I think but I don't know if the taper was the same aren't Mannocks an unusual taper?
A.E. Ions sell vintage cues and makes replicas I think.

            http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...MEWA:IT&ih=008

Altered a fair bit and rebadged but genuine, it's worth bookmaking to see how much it'll go fo but no cue is worth £900 IMO anything over 300 is just paying for the lable/heritage.

              Hi,

Martin Chesworth has a snooker shop in Sheffield and has a selection of old cues for sale.

He recently had 3 or 4 mannocks in the rack for sale.

You can get his contact details from his web site.
Just because its old, doesn't mean its worth a fortune!!

Wity- that cue on e bay is definetly not a mannock and the seller knows its not. I watched this cue sell for £17 about 6 or 7 months ago and it was a no namer and all the seller has done is add a badge to it and try to rob someone! Some unlucky buyer is going to get robbed big time.

THIS CUE WILL BE WELL WARPED AND SENT AS SOON AS PAYMENT RECIVED

Just read through the description quickly and because 'wrapped' was misspelt I read it as 'warped'!! It does look nice - but then you never know with cues from ebay.
