  • Snooker Table For Sale, Great Condition PLEASE LOOK!

I have for sale an EJ Riley’s Limited Full size Snooker Table (12ftx6ft) with lots of accessories and everything you would need to get it up and running. The accessories include things such as, a full set of snooker balls, (all immaculate condition) 2 rests, a wooden triangle, 10ft cues and 10ft rests, a brand new, heavy duty full size snooker table cloth, (weatherproof) a full set of Aramith Tournament Champion Snooker Balls, BRAND NEW never been used, and much more.

First of all I will tell you a bit about the snooker table and all its components.

    The Table Itself
The table is a Riley’s edition, and has a plate on one side of the table saying 'Riley’s Burwat'. The Riley’s Burwat tables are extremely hard to come by nowadays as they only came about in the 1970's so this table could be an original.
On the other side of the table there is another plate saying, 'Re-rubbered Arrow-flyte cushions'. I was recently told that Arrow-Flyte cushions are the best on the market at the moment. The table has a few scratches as you can expect on the wood but nothing too extreme and nothing that you will notice too much. It has 8 round, beautifully carved legs which need a bit of polishing up but nothing permanent, 8 brass hooks on each side of the table to hold the rests and might as well be brand new cushions.

    The Cloth
The cloth is in almost new condition, there are no holes in it or cuts except where they should all be (around the cushions). When I first bought this table I was astounded by the condition of the cloth, it is extremely good. The cloth has been neatly folded up and kept in a safe environment to stop it getting damaged. It has been kept away from dust and dirt so is still in brand new condition.

    The Slate Beds
The Slate beds are all in great condition and are all currently kept in a safe dry environment. They have all been sanded down to prevent scratches or bumps when playing and all the pockets are cut to 'World Snooker' regulations. The Slate is marked so the buyer will know in what order to fit it to the table. However the slate is very heavy so an LWB van will be needed to load them on. I will be able to help with loading but this is a 3-4 man job so please come prepared.

    General Info
The table is already dismantled and is easy to be moved from my house and onto a van. When I was moving the table to my home, it took 30 minutes once it was all dismantled. The slate beds are all situated in a close, easy access place so they will not have to be lifted for too long.
This is an absolute diamond of an antique for any young, old, beginner, or even professional snooker player. COLLECTION ONLY. My son played on this table for a while and had hours of fun with it. Reason for sale is due to lack of space. I will only sell if certain it is going to a good home, as I know this is the sort of thing that should not be mistreated.
A Bargain of a price, I bought it for £1200 only 2 years ago so will be selling it for less than that of course possibly half or more the price i originally bought it for.
If there are any questions please do not be afraid to ask.
    Thanks Adam

Was this the table you asked for advice on about how to move it?

Weatherproof, do you mean the balls or the cloth or that the table parts are under cover? And, just what cloth is it? (You should not leave the cloth folded up for more than a day or two)

You only tell us what is written on "another plate" about the cushions, are they steel or wood block and Northern Rubber? "all the pockets are cut to 'World Snooker' regulations", are you certain of this and does it apply to the slates as well?

The slates have been sanded down, what exactly does this mean, did you do it yourself?

Antique? Just how old is the table or at least bits of it?

No photos? Might have been better to leave the table erected for purchasers to view.

Tables are not difficult to come by nowadays and not so expensive either, even some very of the very good ones.

Just questions that a buyer may ask.

I'm guessing so as well. I realise now what this is about, this was the kid/dad, depending on what alias he is using who was asking about housing a table in a garden shed. If truth be known I doubt the table has ever been erected and has taken the hump that they/he didn't take my advice in the first place. Now it seems like they have an issue because I was right all along. He PM'd me a while ago saying that I was not being very nice and that 'Solja Boi' was an aspiring young professional who needed encouragement. Anyways good look with the sale but as your description has so many flaws I really doubt anyone in their right mind would even consider buying.

Would there be a possibility to send this tabel overseas?
This is just what I've been looking for. Since we don't have much tabels on sale in our country. (new tables price would be pretty high).

And it would be nice if you could send me couple of photos of this table.

cost of the postage? I doubt somehow you'll be able to fit it in a jiffy bag and put it in the postbox ... I've just tried RoyalMail's price calculator and they can't quote a price for 3000 Kg to Estonia ...

however I also checked 1 Kg to Estonia and they are quoting $25 by ParcelForce ... so multiplying this up, 3000 Kg would be £75,000 ...

it might be worth considering an alternative method ... such as hiring someone with a Luton van and getting them to drive it over ...

                      hope this helps!

hi Kaits well its up to you whether your friend is willing to pick it up from my dress. I do understand that brand new tables are approximately 3-4 thousand poUnds. This table is an antique and ovbiously has a few scratches on the legs, but that is expected. I am looking for approximately £750 - £900 pounds for the table and all the accessories. Would you be willing to pay that? if you could possible give me your e-mail address, i can sort out a few photos for you. Cheers Adam

Well.. thing is that tables in Estonia start from prices like 6000 pounds and so on..
I don't mind few scratches on table. Important thing is that slates would be in prime condition and cushions would be in good shape.
Could you then please send me some photos on following address: kaido@it.ee

hi kaits, i have sent you an e-mail to the address given, could you please let me know whether you get it or not?
The Slates on the table like i mentioned in the description are in superb quality, they really are a strongpoint of the table and by the looks of it, they have been kept in great conditon, there are no chips or dents etc in them. The cushions are also very good aswell, they are all next to new, and did well for me, i could regularly knock in a decent break on them. I would just like to mention when i bought the table, i was amazed by the condition of the rails, they look brand new, u would never be able to tell that they have been used.
                              Thanks Adam
