Well it's been a long search, I've always hated using a stanley knife to trim a new tip, I could have made my own using an old hacksaw blade and sharpening one edge on my bench grinder but i wanted something a bit better.
So I had this made, it's a one off not expensive, no frills just a single bevel blade ( Right side cut, I'm right handed ) so now I can cut my tips true to the ferrule without damage, using the stanley I always seemed to cut at an angle.

Very nice John. what will you use to keep the edge? A stone block?

Spot on CC, It's got a nice edge on it atm, so will just give it the occasional rub on the stone.

I use a Surgical Scalpel , found them to be more agile than a Stanley Knife .

LOL chaps, The only reason I wanted a single bevel blade was so I dont mark the Ferrule. I can now slice the edges of the Tip in a straight line, I used a stanley but found I was trimming at an angle trying to keep the blade away from the Ferrule,
