Snooker Table Lighting Advice

Hi all, I’m in the process of building a new snooker room and was wanting any kind of advice on the best kind of lighting for a full size snooker table, I’ve had a look around and seen the Peradon Luminaire, I’m guessing it’s personal preference as well, traditional or modern, if anyone knows of any good suppliers it would be appreciated, thanks.

The Ultra Bright LED panel ones that Peradon do are really good. I think they say 50,000 hours is the expectancy. We have one over our pool table in our showroom.

All life forms on this planet that can see evolved eyes that see in natural sunlight and 'daylight' bulbs and LED's are made to mimic natural sunlight and therefore give you much better vision, so go for these for your snooker room lighting whatever you decide on.

how did you contact site admin?

Ahh, have a vague memory (generally of that, maybe it was the Louvre style he went for after. Point for the op is theres lots of info on here if you're prepared to dig a bit. Things change all the time.

I really enjoyed browsing through that thread again, hope your room and table are still playing as great as back then.

I'm in it now CC, near enough live in it.
Getting a recover in two weeks going to try Strachan superfine this time around, if it's no good it's only on for six months until the next recover and it will be back to Hainsworth match.
Steve's thread is one of the top ten threads on here imo.

Lolz, nah you’ll be right, just take a few frames to stop hitting it out of the park then you will most likely love it. Don’t try to hold the white, that’s decel city!!
