  • WANTED - Spotted cue ball for practice

    Hey guys,

New member, first post. I've been frequenting my local club lately, trying to get into this sport. I feel like i'd benefit from a red spotted training ball to learn a bit more about the intentional or unintentional spin i'm applying.

Seems like the Aramith pro cup 52.5mm standard is out of stock everywhere, and Amazon products have poor reviews overall, either the ball being the wrong size or too light etc.

Can anyone help me? Know a place I can get one of these balls, or do you have an old one you don't use? I'm happy to pay a very fair price for it if you do.

    Thanks

Funny thing is that I have a few. You could have one but they are in Bulgaria, I am in UK.

And yes, they will improve your game. Get a jazz ball whilst you are at it! They are great fun.

            Thanks for the replies.

Delphi - I had actually already seen that ebay store but was a little bit put off by the review saying that the ball was 'almost' the right size. Not really good enough when you're parting with 30 quid in my opinion. The quality and variation in what people received seemed akin to the various unbranded stores who sell these on Amazon to me. Probably all come from the same factory, but thank you for trying to help anyway.

Philip in china - Shame about the Bulgaria thing. If there's a way to sort something out, i'd be willing to cover the cost.

Cue crafty - This may well be what I end up doing! One wonders why Aramith aren't making more of these things if everywhere is sold out though.

Start talking nonsense then. You will soon be up to 10.

Try responding to my failed thread on the contents of my snooker room. I have thought of something else already.

BTW why does that say it was posted at 2.20 PM when it was at 11.20 AM? Am I still set up as being in one of the many foreign countries that have been blessed by my presence?

I see 11:20, so probably one of your settings.
