But thats a one piece case. If i was going to buy a one piece i would go with the ones ADR has. Lava was it you with the craftsman cue? I've lost track. If it was i really like the case you have but havent seen one similar anywhere.

Lava bought a Mastercraft cue with no badge, Rob. By the way, which ones does Andrew have?

Yes thats the one in a black leatherette case with white stitching, a little like ADR's one piece ones but 3/4 lenght i believe. Unless i'm going mad. But thats the only one i've seen and he appears to like it too much to sell it me

Mine was the Mastercraft, as recently posted in the cue thread (With the *awful* photos; Intend to get some better soon!). Unfortunately, I purchased mine "privately" (Despite everything being new) and therefore I have no idea where it was originally sourced from, nor indeed how much it cost (I purchased everything "as one", and at a good price at that).

I'm sure they cannot be that elusive... No doubt somebody will be along soon with a whole host of links.

          EDIT: Bah beaten to it!

Hmm... Probably a silly question... But could you not purchase a one piece case and just keep the cue screwed together all of the time? I s'pose it removes the "advantage" of a smaller cue.

Would it do any "damage" having the two pieces constantly screwed together?

Looks good (And looks are all I am going on!)... I prefer the black to the bare alu.

That one. Looks a very very nice case

And it seems pointless to buy a 1 piece case with a 3/4 cue. Especially as if i want to use it in the holidays it has to journey with me on the train.

Now that I would be tempted by (Very much the style I like!).

So I s'pose that asks the question even more than before:

-Is there any "disadvantage" to putting a 3/4 cue in a one piece case? Beyond the fact that it's bigger, removing the "advantage" of a 3/4 cue

Certainly for a case like that, at that money, I'd be considering it anyway...

EDIT: All of these post edits mean that this looks slightly disjointed by Rob's edit above

Nice case, but very simple inside, no separators, no space for chalk, BUT it's hard-wearing as hell!

No disadvantage at all in having a 3/4 cue screwed together all the time, it's what you have when you're playing, after all.

Honestly guys, the best case we've seen yet is the B&W case at £60, it's perfect! It'll take cue + accoutrements and it's not too long for transport purposes. It'll even fit into a car boot! It also looks professional as all get out, believe me. Especially in black!

Surely nothing is free? You're just paying for something, 50% of which you wont even use/need... If you consider that in the price you pay it's had to account for the cue and case, then surely it cannot be possible to such good quality? I mean you said £20/30... Even at £30 if we can imagine (Assumption!) that the case and cue costs are equal then you are buying a case with a value of £15... Surely you cannot expect quality?

By the sounds of it you're incredibly excited about your new cue which sounds to suit you perfect... I cannot see this "free" cue getting a look in when your "new" cue arrives, so whether you give it to somebody or not it's still just an "extra"... Instead the money would be better spent protecting your new pride and joy. I s'pose the question then, is will these "cheaper" cases do any lesser job in protecting your new cue?

You've got a great cue on it's way, treat yourself and show it off nicely

rob, would you rather pay £40.00 for a flimsy case and a crappy cue, just to see what the cues are like. Or pay roughly the same price to get a good quality cue case that you know is worth the cost.

you can't keep a nice cue in a cheapo case.........thats just cruel
