Well nobody talked me out of it so i have purchased a wooden cue case off of ebay for 25 pounds inc postage. Maybe its not the "best" choice but its fairly cheap if it turns out to be rubbish and i might even try out decorating it in some way. Apparently my dad has a pyrography pen thing he bought some time back to have a go at so if that still works it might find some use I will post some pics when it arrives so people can tell me what a genius / fool i am for buying it!

Glad you're happy

Still getting another case as well? Or only the wooden one for the time being?

Well i got the case for 25 pounds, so when it arrives i will evaluate its quality, and if i deem it not up to scratch i will buy a metal one. if this is the case i will probably add some dividers and stuff in the holidays in april. We shall see when it arrivalises (that is definately a legitimateified word for keiths benefit )

LMAO!!! Thanks so much for thinking of me, Rob, that's really nice! I have to admit that I'm really happy you got the case, and at a good price, too. With your dad having a pen you can use to decorate it, if it's OK, then you could make a silk purse out of a sow's ear. Not bad for an electronics student!

I just hope that when it arrives it rivalises with your expectations! Ftw!!

I've had in my opinion the best case, for the last 15 years, it has never let me down, its like a bomb desposal unit...
its been dropped down stairs, bashed, knocked all over the place. Not deliberatley of course.
But this case has never, ever let me down....
looks quality as well and always gets a reaction from jealous players, and i'm always asked where I got it....
Unsure now where they are available, if I remember, craftmans have only a few left, and have stopped production.
The things is indistructable....
I purchased mine from dave coutts.

Copy and paste the item tags I'd put above and insert a forward slash (/) before the IMG in the final bracket.

Eg;

If you copy and paste the above it only needs you to add four slashes... Seems you've got the images on now anyway

aluminum cases are usually overprice
however those cue cases in craftsman are indeed worth a try

do the push-on extensions fit in these cases

no, but the jointed extensions do
