Tip shaper is the easiest way. It can be done with just sand paper but the shaper is a lot easier.

Also I start with fitting a 11 mm tip on my 10 mm ferrule! Is this not enough? I thought this is enough! Then it looks like mushroom or not? When i shape the overlapped part off than it is a normal tip size!

No i don't think so but if you cut the side of the overlapping tip off with the knife it is not mushroom look! its normal look!!!!!!

It says in the video, to achieve a mushroom effect on the tip, skip the stage of cutting the overhanging tip.
It's relatively easy to get a mushroom tip.......

@Reini: This mushrooming effect also depends on the kind of tip you put on
your cue. Some will almost remain in the shape you went for, others will
deform heavily.

Of course not its just the shape the tips takes once sanded correctly.

I play mushroom tip. More 'contacting surface' between tip and cue ball. But I will need a soft tip (like elk) too

Don't you have trouble playing off the rail though?

Not that big mushroom Your tip will never touch the rail anyway When started in 1997, i played with 9.5, then changed to 10mm ever since.
