In recent discussions I've heard it mentioned that surely there must be some modern substitute for traditional leather tips... so here it is!!!

If you were to glue one piece of confectionary to the end of your cue... Which would it be

Marshmallow
Jelly Tot
Chocolate
Smartie
Jelly Bean
TicTac
Jelly baby
Winegum
Malteser
Other - Please state

Now of course you may shape the confectionary as much as you want before and after fitting so as not to introduce bias into this

This would also give more of us an excuse to look like Ronnie and bite our tips off

Chocolate Mushrooms are the best substitute for a tip. It holds the chalk really well, no need for shaping or scuffing of the tip. Just slap it on and you're away!!!

In terms of playability i think the wine gums would be the best.

This has got to be the daftest thread i have seen yet.

But to go with it wine gums would probably not be so good on a hot day as they would stick to the cue ball. Then you'd be fouled for a push shot.
