B&W billiards also has them for around 5 quid ot so. Not sure of the price as I got one free when I bought a cue. Their websiter is something like bandwbilliards.co.uk (don't quote me though, try searching under bandwbilliards and you'll get it

Been having a look around for a chalk holder and ended up buying the Peradon pouch type from the JohnParrotSports web-site. Only £4.50 including P&P. As per usual with me and my impulse buying I very soon have found something better. Another forum member has pointed me to StamfordCues website. Lovely soft leather pouch holders. You can get your name or initials added. Also Mastercraft do a nice one for £6.95. The opening seems a bit wider and it looks like it might be less fiddly to get the chalk in and out? Anyone tried one?

watford:
And how long do your pockets last? In the past you could spot a player from the frayed pocket(s) in his jeans and it was either toss the jeans or line one of the pockets with leather.
Much cheaper to get a pouch or magnetic holder, although I think a good pouch is better since you sometimes knock off the chalk with one of the magnetic ones

I mostly wear cord jeans and I've not had too many problems.
My mates seem to fray pockets and have big green patches above the pocket but not me. I do leave the chalk on the table when practicing though.
You know what comes after magnetic chalk holder don't you.

Watford I think a glove is one accessory too far!! (Unless you have a skin condition of course.)
I don't really like leaving the chalk on the table as it always seems to be out of reach when I need it. In a frame, if my opponent leaves the chalk on the table it always seems to be in my eyeline and puts me off! Coincidence I'm sure. Apart from Stephen Hendry I'm the worlds worst moaner. Always looking for an excuse as to why I'm not playing well.
